A pro-EU campaign group set up to oppose Brexit, protect the rights of British migrants living in Spain/EU & to rejoin. We believe freedom of movement is a force of good; in a democracy free from division & interference; equality.

Spain’s fascist dictator. This year marks 50 yrs since Franco’s death

A year-long series of events will serve as a reminder of the potency of fascism at a time when the far right is once more on the march & is appealing to younger voters with no memory & scant knowledge of the dictatorship

‘Dangerous nostalgia’: did Spain’s ‘pact of forgetting’ after Franco leave new generation open to far right?

Events to mark the 50th anniversary of dictator’s death are intended to remind Spaniards, particularly the young, of the dangers of fascism

Again. Labour will never be cruel enough for the hard right, the right wing media shills, or the majority of Reform voters yet they continue to damage themselves by trying to do so

    It’s quite incredible

    Marie Le Conte

VERY funny that Labour are being pointlessly cruel and haemorrhaging support from their base and yet none of what they're offering is ever going to be enough for the people whose approval they're seeking, WHO could have predicted it

Wow! Imagine if this lot actually got into power. They would bankrupt the nation.

    Mike Galsworthy

The black hole in Durham County Council’s budget has grown by £11.1mn in the past two months under the control of Reform UK.

Its cabinet has been forced to approve a £10mn list of cuts.

But the measures will still leave the county council with a deficit of £72mn over the coming four years
